about

My old band The 'A' Train released this song as the b side to our single Don't Have Far To Go, back in 2009. My brother Dan recorded and arranged it. I rediscovered the recording recently on a scratched CD-R. I think it retains plenty of charm and power, and wanted more people to hear it, so we've remastered the track, and are including it here.

Toby Kanetsuka and Shaun Underhay both helped this song along.

lyrics

The city streets where we meet sometimes
A busker plays the violin
But when I hear those midnight chimes, I see the crest etched on your skin
